Hi! I’m Nic (She/her)
Academic advisor by day, aspiring author and ARC reviewer by night...25 year old Glitter Gremlin 24/7.
My philosophy is to shoot for the moon, and that's what I've spent my entire life doing. I published my first poems in literary journals when I was in high school, then broke into editing/tutoring while earning my Bachelor's in English and History from Rowan University. I earned my Master's degree in Diversity and Inclusion during the pandemic (first cohort!), got a job as an academic advisor of transfer students, and chipped away at my sapphic YA fantasy manuscript all the while. I am an active NetGalley ARC reviewer (51 new releases reviewed in the past year and a half!). If you need a cheerleader for a Twitter pitch contest, I'm always on call, and if you need a Twitter pitch contest, period...well, just check out my work with #QueerPit.

I'm a proud cat mama to two foster fails, Beanie (orange tabby) and Cora (dilute tortie). I wear glitter eyeshadow no matter the occasion, relate to fictional characters a little too much, and cannot be parted from my favorite llama thermos. If you cut me, I would bleed Tea Pigs tea.

At the moment, I am:
-anticipating publication of my last 2023 short story (the other two have found their homes earlier this year!)
-eagerly awaiting news of my revise&resubmit on my sapphic YA fantasy manuscript (yes, a dream agent gave me a second shot. Yes, I am a little dizzy when I think about it)
-halfway through editing my sapphic adult dystopian romance, after receiving feedback from two brilliant betas
-halfway through writing what I think may be my favorite manuscript yet, an adult bisexual romantasy featuring a truly prickly main character (think Eileen from Ottessa Moshfegh's titular novel blended with El from A Deadly Education, and with the chronic illness rep of Fourth Wing)
-and also beta'ing a lot of my friends' excellent works. One of them snagged an amazing agent last month and is going on sub soon!
